Junior Full-Stack Laravel Developer

About the Role

Finova Africa is hiring a Junior Full-Stack Laravel Developer to join our technical team in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work structure, requiring 2 days on-site in our Ikeja office and remote work on other days. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Laravel (PHP) and be ready to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel
• Build and manage backend services and APIs
• Integrate third-party and internal APIs
• Design, manage, and optimize databases
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve system performance
• Test, debug, and maintain application reliability
• Deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines

Requirements

• Proficiency in Laravel (PHP)
• Experience with API integrations
• Knowledge of database management (MySQL or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn and collaborate
• Availability for hybrid work (2 days on-site in Ikeja, Lagos)
