About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Carpenter to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience and will assist in various carpentry works including furniture construction, fittings, repairs, and installations while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures, furniture, and fittings
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements
• Select, measure, and cut wood and other materials according to specifications
• Assemble and fit wood components using nails, screws, or adhesives
• Assist senior carpenters in larger projects and provide support where required
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Ensure safety compliance and cleanliness on the job site
• Perform other carpentry-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a carpenter or in a similar role
• Possession of a Trade Test Certificate in Carpentry or a related field
• Proficient in the use of carpentry tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
