Junior Backend Engineer

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs. - Collaborate with frontend engineers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug issues in backend applications. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions. - Support the design and implementation of database schemas and data storage solutions. - Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools as required. - Participate in Agile development processes, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 1–2 years of experience in backend development (internships, projects, or personal work count). - Basic knowledge of server-side programming languages (Node.js, Python, Java, PHP, or similar). - Understanding of RESTful APIs and database management (SQL or NoSQL). - Familiarity with version control systems (Git). - Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn. - Good communication and collaboration skills.
