Position Overview:
- The IT Technical Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating technical training programs to enhance the IT skills and system knowledge of employees across African Industries Group.
- The role ensures effective adoption of IT systems, tools, and best practices to support business operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver IT training programs (classroom, virtual, and hands-on).
- Train employees on IT systems, software applications, hardware, network basics, cybersecurity awareness, and internal ERP/enterprise systems.
- Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with IT and business teams.
- Prepare training materials, manuals, presentations, and user guides.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Provide post-training support and coaching to ensure knowledge retention and system adoption.
- Coordinate with IT teams during system upgrades, rollouts, and new technology implementations.
Required Qualifications:
& Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in IT training, IT support, or technical instruction.
