## Title: IT Support Personnel
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated IT support personnel to join our dynamic tech company. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance and support to ensure efficient operation of our information systems and technology infrastructure. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide first-level support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Assist with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software
- Perform regular updates and maintenance of IT systems
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
System Maintenance
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Ensure the security and integrity of IT infrastructure
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
User Assistance
- Provide technical guidance and support to employees on IT-related issues
- Conduct training sessions to educate users on basic and advanced features of IT systems and software
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures and processes
Troubleshooting
- Respond to IT service requests and incidents in a timely manner
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of issues
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Ensure proper asset tagging and tracking of IT resources
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement and repair services
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience as an IT support technician or similar role
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified
