IT Support Officer at Beamco Nigeria Limited

About the Role

An established company is recruiting an IT Support Officer to provide comprehensive technical support across all company branches. This position requires hands-on expertise in hardware maintenance, network troubleshooting, and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform toner replacement and routine printer maintenance to ensure uninterrupted printing operations
• Manage cabling and cable management activities
• Manage and maintain accurate IT equipment inventory records
• Handle office activation for users on firewalls
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops
• Set up and configure new computers in accordance with company standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve IP telephony issues
• Assist with installation and configuration of new IT equipment as requested by the IT Administrator
• Investigate and resolve malfunctions in network hardware, software applications, and related systems to restore normal operations
• Provide on-site and remote IT support, training, and guidance to users across all company branches
• Make visits to Abuja and Port Harcourt as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of IT support experience
• Working knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Proficiency with cabling and computer setup
• Knowledge of firewalls and networking
• Microsoft 365 and internet skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification
• Microsoft certifications
• ITIL certification

Location
