IT Support Engineer

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna Position Overview: - The IT Support Engineer provides technical support for hardware, software, and network systems to ensure smooth daily operations. - The role involves troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining systems, and supporting users in line with company IT policies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first- and second-level IT support to end users - Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and peripheral devices - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues - Support operating systems, email systems, and business applications - Assist with network administration (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN) - Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and support tickets - Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance - Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, or related field - 2–4 years’ experience in IT support or helpdesk roles - Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and troubleshooting - Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and antivirus systems - Good communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and in a team
