Position Summary

The IT Specialist will oversee system administration, network management, and user support while ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage system administration and network infrastructure
• Provide user support and technical assistance
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
• Oversee IT projects from planning to execution
• Maintain website and web application infrastructure security
• Implement and monitor backup solutions and disaster recovery processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years' proven experience in IT infrastructure management, systems administration, or related role
• Demonstrated experience in IT security, firewalls, intrusion detection, and disaster recovery planning
• Proven ability to manage website and web application infrastructure securely

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software, debugging, and resolving technical issues
• Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics Navision and database management
• Hands-on experience with network hardware, software installation, and maintenance
• Strong understanding of IT architecture, systems integration, and optimization
• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and data integrity processes
• Familiarity with web development, website management, and application security
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CCNA, or ITIL
