About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to lead and supervise a team of IT professionals. As IT Manager/Director, you will manage and maintain the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, software, and networks while developing IT strategies, implementing solutions, and ensuring data security across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, train, and supervise IT staff, including hiring, performance management, and professional development
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to support business goals, improve efficiency, and enhance security
• Oversee the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, including networks, operating systems, hardware, software, servers, and databases
• Monitor and optimize network performance, reliability, and security, implementing measures to prevent downtime, data loss, and cyber threats
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to IT staff through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as department heads, executives, and end-users to understand IT needs, prioritize projects, and deliver solutions
• Evaluate and recommend IT solutions, technologies, and vendors, conducting research, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, regulations, and best practices, including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO standards
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, conducting regular tests and exercises to ensure readiness
• Manage IT budgets, expenditures, and procurement processes, negotiating contracts, licenses, and service agreements with vendors and suppliers
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
