## Title: IT Help Desk Officer
Position Overview
Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking a qualified IT Help Desk Officer to provide comprehensive technical support and IT infrastructure management for our banking operations in Lagos, Nigeria.
User Support & Training
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to bank staff
- Create and manage employee profiles and login access for banking applications and mail servers
- Train staff on the use of banking software and computer applications
- Maintain and update error logs for system issues and resolutions
Banking Application & System Operations
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues related to banking applications and messaging systems
- Perform End-of-Day (EOD), End-of-Month (EOM), and End-of-Year (EOY) processing
- Manage the Bank's SMS portal
- Conduct regular system monitoring to ensure optimal performance
Data & Database Management
- Perform data backup and restoration procedures
- Administer databases using SQL, including maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure data integrity, availability, and security
Network & Infrastructure Management
- Troubleshoot and manage the Bank's Local Area Network (LAN)
- Support networking and communication infrastructure, including LAN, IP phones, and related systems
- Manage hardware installations, maintenance, and repairs (printers, laptops, copiers, etc.)
Security & Compliance
- Manage and monitor security devices and systems
- Track and monitor the security of hardware and software systems, including malware and virus scans
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security standards
Vendor & Asset Management
- Liaise with IT vendors, technicians, software providers, and Internet Service Providers (ISP)
- Monitor, order, and distribute computer and IT supplies
- Maintain records of IT assets and licenses
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare written documents such as internal memos, monthly subscription reports, letters, and meeting minutes
- Maintain and organize IT-related documents and files, including SLAs and receipts
