IT Engineer / Officer at Bill Energy Services Limited

About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a talented IT Officer to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure. You will ensure our systems remain secure, efficient, and up-to-date while providing essential technical support to all users.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support as the first point of contact for users experiencing IT-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems
• Ensure IT system security through data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls to safeguard sensitive information
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security
• Plan and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations while collaborating with other departments to identify IT needs
• Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training purposes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Relevant experience with computer systems, hardware, software, and networking
• Familiarity with programming languages and database management systems is beneficial
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
