Inventory / Optical Manager at Eye Foundation Hospital

Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Inventory and Optical Manager is responsible for the operation of the optical store, maintaining profitability and organization to ensure an excellent experience for our customers while delivering excellence in stock keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the delivery of quality care to patients
• Manage and maintain accurate stock keeping records
• Generate and prepare sales reports
• Enter optical daily sales for all branches into QuickBooks
• Prepare monthly sales reports with the line manager at month-end
• Reconcile invoices from optical laboratories with orders placed and receipts
• Conduct monthly stock reconciliation
• Assist the optometrist in attending to patients
• Help patients select appropriate frames and lens options
• Follow up on glasses ordered from the laboratory
• Order and manage collection of contact lenses as needed
• Prepare HMO reports at month-end for the accounting and audit department
• Receive patients and assist them in accessing appropriate optical services
• Provide effective clerical services and manage phone communications
• Perform general administrative work in the optical department
• Visit other branches as required
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor and management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Bookkeeping, or related courses preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a relevant field
• Strong computer proficiency

• Prior record-keeping and administrative experience
