Inventory/ Distribution Staff at Sports World Nigeria

Job Summary

We are seeking an Inventory and Distribution Staff member to assist in overseeing the entire process of managing stock levels, ensuring the efficient storage and timely distribution of products to customers. You will optimize inventory control systems, coordinate with suppliers and distributors, and monitor delivery schedules to maintain optimal stock levels and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming goods
• Distribute goods to various locations
• Generate inventory reports
• Reconcile stock problems and issues, including missing items or discrepancies upon delivery
• Fulfill stock replenishment orders for distribution to stores
• Handle office equipment needs, including internet-related issues and system malfunctions (computer or QuickBooks)
• Verify prices and label goods accordingly
• Update and correct stock quantity and price information
• Report damaged goods
• Oversee warehouse staff, ensuring proper product storage and handling while maintaining accurate inventory records
• Conduct stock taking and reconciliation
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory levels, delivery times, and cost efficiency to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

• Minimum HND qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with QuickBooks point of sale

Working Hours

• Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Sundays: Closed
