About the Internship
This internship program is designed to promote employability by providing work experience to recent graduates and university students in career transition. It also serves as an opportunity to develop leadership competencies and encourage women's participation in decision-making roles within key development spaces.
Purpose and Key Activities
The intern will initiate, assist with, report on, and monitor various program initiatives. You will participate in planning regular meetings and facilitate knowledge exchange across the organization.
Responsibilities
The intern will be expected to:
- Assist in the operations of project-related activities
- Support the development and management of up-to-date program records, including data collection, tracking, and reporting
- Communicate findings and facilitate knowledge dissemination and exchange among various interested parties
- Produce written reports and white papers to share knowledge and results from analysis performed
- Provide logistical and administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing events, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Support engagement efforts with donors, partners, and beneficiaries to strengthen collaboration and visibility
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Program Manager and Project Managers
Minimum Qualifications
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field
- NYSC Certificate of completion, exemption, or exclusion (compulsory)
- Female candidates only
- Additional consideration given for professional experience relevant to the position
