Instrumentation and Control Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Instrumentation and Control Engineer for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in Agbara, Lagos. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems while monitoring instrumentation and ensuring process control in our Acid and Alum plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain control systems for acid and alum plant operations
• Monitor instrumentation and ensure effective process control
• Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure efficient operations
• Enhance equipment performance and meet production goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and meet organizational objectives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in Control Engineering and Process Control
• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering principles and applications
• Experience with Control Systems Design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of Instrumentation and measurement systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to process optimization
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a chemical plant environment

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in the sulphuric acid chemicals or manufacturing industry
