Information Technology Support Officer at Boctrust Microfinance Bank

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lagos. You will be responsible for delivering technical support, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and maintaining desktop computers and printers. The role involves ensuring seamless IT operations within the organization, responding to technical queries, and setting up or maintaining IT equipment to support staff productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and resolve technical inquiries from staff members
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner
• Maintain and support desktop computers and printers
• Set up and configure IT equipment to support organizational operations
• Respond to technical queries and assist users with IT-related concerns
• Ensure seamless IT operations and staff productivity

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in providing technical support and resolving technical inquiries
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in IT environments
• Knowledge of Information Technology systems and infrastructure
• Experience with computer and printer support
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for addressing user needs effectively
• Ability to work on-site and manage technical equipment in real-time

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL
