Information Technology Support Officer

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Information Technology Support Officer will be responsible for maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all IT systems and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the organization's IT infrastructure and IT assets
• Provide technical support to team members
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with desktop computers, printers, and other equipment
• Perform regular system updates
• Ensure cybersecurity protection across systems
• Assist team members with IT-related queries and provide training

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Familiarity with technical support, information technology systems, and related IT infrastructure
• Proficiency in troubleshooting techniques to resolve software and hardware issues efficiently
• Experience with desktop computer and printer support
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an on-site environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or equivalent
