Information Management Officer at Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD)

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as an Information Management Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data to support organizational decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize, design, and conduct analysis of datasets using statistical techniques such as Power BI and Excel
• Provide support to the Information Management Working Group and advocate for the use of data standards and common platforms
• Design, develop, and manage databases, spreadsheets, and other data tools
• Understand, document, and ensure the quality of high-value humanitarian data for accuracy, consistency, and comparability
• Consolidate operational information on a regular schedule to support analysis
• Manage platforms and tools that support data collection and analysis, such as Kobo Toolbox
• Produce and update information products including reports, charts, and infographics
• Produce and update high-quality map products and interactive dashboards using GIS capabilities
• Implement and regularly update the Information Management Strategy and Dissemination Plan
• Design data collection forms, ensuring clarity of purpose and usability
• Organize and manage data input from collection forms and conduct initial analysis
• Conduct needs and gap identification for relevant operational sectors
• Proactively gather information from cluster partners, UN agencies, and other relevant organizations
• Develop an information-sharing platform as a web-portal
• Update and share 5Ws for all relevant sectors
• Identify appropriate secondary data and information resources
• Facilitate open exchange of information across the organization
