Job Summary
The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and administration of human resource initiatives, systems, and policies across all offices. This position will be responsible for managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance with employment regulations.
The HR Specialist will ensure that the organization maintains an efficient, fair, and legally compliant HR environment that supports the company's mission and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems and Policy Implementation
- Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and systems
- Provide counseling and guidance to staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Draft and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Recruitment and Selection
- Develop and post job descriptions and advertisements for open positions
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding
- Conduct pre-employment background checks and reference verifications
- Coordinate and conduct employee orientation and onboarding programs
Training and Development
- Identify staff training and development needs through performance reviews and consultation with managers
- Develop and implement employee training programs and workshops
- Facilitate onboarding and continuous learning sessions for new and existing employees
- Maintain up-to-date training records and evaluate training effectiveness
Employee Relations and Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance management systems and annual performance reviews
- Support managers in handling disciplinary and grievance issues in line with company policy
- Conduct exit interviews
