## Title: Human Resources Assistant - Sokoto

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Médecins Sans Frontières in a Human Resources Assistant role.

Main Objective

Execute administrative, HR, and legal-related tasks to support the Project HR Manager following MSF standards and procedures, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining the HR capacity required to achieve project objectives.

General Accountabilities

  • Manage personal files under the supervision of the Project HR Manager to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely payments
  • Update the HR database and personal files to facilitate HR processes management
  • Update Social Security and Tax Office files to meet legal requirements, including specific amendments when necessary to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance
  • Prepare employment contracts in conformity with legal requirements, including specific amendments when necessary to ensure local labour and fiscal law compliance
  • Prepare monthly pay slips for all staff, editing and updating necessary data to ensure punctuality and accuracy of staff payroll
  • Follow up on all expiring rental contract dates and inform the Administration Manager to allow sufficient time for renewal or alternative arrangements
  • Make all administrative information available to staff (postings, meetings, etc.), supporting the Project HR Manager in translating documents into local language and assisting in meetings upon request
  • Execute additional HR and administrative tasks as delegated by the Project HR Manager

MSF Section/Context Specific Accountabilities

  • Ensure the daily worker pool is updated with relevant information recorded accurately and facilitate their work with each department
  • Ensure documentation for daily worker use is accurate, updated, and complete
  • Brief new arrivals (national and international staff) on the project, introduce them to the team, and arrange their accommodation
  • Assist in staff orientation and integration processes
