Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as an HSE Officer.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
• NEBOSH International General Certificate
• OSHA/IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
• 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in Oil & Gas, Construction, Marine, or field/site environments

Preferred Qualifications

• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor training
• First Aid and Firefighting certifications

Key Responsibilities & Experience

• Apply safety management systems, risk assessment, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) processes
• Conduct site HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Prepare and deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and HSE awareness sessions
• Identify hazards and assess risks, implementing appropriate control measures
• Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and HSE record keeping
• Engage workers and contractors through strong interpersonal communication

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of workplace HSE regulations and standards
• Proficiency in hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies
• Competence in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
