About the Role

We are seeking a qualified HSE Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop preventative strategies
• Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of safety and environmental practices and legislation
• Monitor compliance with policies, perform site inspections, and prepare detailed reports on findings
• Lead emergency response initiatives and conduct incident investigations to establish root causes and implement preventive measures
• Provide specialist advice on fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise management, occupational diseases, and waste management
• Maintain current knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental matters that impact the organization
• Collaborate with internal leadership and external regulatory bodies to maintain compliance standards
• Perform other assigned tasks as required
