## Title: HR/Legal Compliance Manager

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within Swift Consulting's Lagos office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on internal and external matters affecting the company
  • Draft, review, and negotiate company agreements and contracts
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and HR-related legal documentation
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulatory requirements, and company standards
  • Support senior management in strategic HR planning and workforce development
  • Coordinate disciplinary processes and handle conflict resolution
  • Maintain employee records and HR management systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)
  • BL qualification and active membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (compulsory)
  • Minimum of 2–5 years proven experience as HR/Legal Officer, HR Associate, Legal Associate, or similar role
  • Experience in policy drafting and HR administration
  • Strong understanding of labour and employment laws in Nigeria
