Position Overview: - Hotel Security Operatives are responsible for protecting guests, staff, and hotel property by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times. Main Duties & Responsibilities - Monitor and control entry and exit points of the hotel - Check visitors, vendors, and vehicles entering the premises - Prevent unauthorized persons from accessing restricted areas - Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises (rooms floors, corridors, parking areas, etc.) - Identify and report suspicious activities or safety hazards - Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems - Report any unusual incidents observed on camera - Respond quickly to emergencies such as disturbances, theft, or accidents - Provide assistance during fire alarms or evacuation procedures - Help maintain order during events or busy periods - Record and report all security incidents in the occurrence logbook - Prepare written reports for management when necessary - Prevent theft, vandalism, and damage to hotel property - Monitor parking areas and hotel assets - Assist during medical emergencies until professional help arrives - Work with local security agencies or police when required - Provide directions and assistance to guests politely - Maintain a professional and approachable attitude Requirements: Education: al Qualification: - Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO qualification with 4 years experience. - Security training or certification is an advantage Physical Requirements: - Physically fit and alert - Ability to stand or walk for long hours - Good eyesight and hearing ability Skills: & Qualities: - Strong observation skills - High level of discipline and integrity - Ability to remain calm under pressure - Good communication skills - Polite but firm attitude - Ability to handle conflict professionally
