Healthcare Assistant at EXC Pharmacy

About the Role

Support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions while maintaining pharmacy operations and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in prescription preparation and dispensing
• Maintain and update daily sales records
• Receive incoming supplies and stock shelves appropriately
• Rotate stock and ensure older medications are placed on front shelves for use prior to expiration dates
• Review and ensure appropriate approval on daily business expenses
• Answer telephone calls, provide general information, and route calls to appropriate staff members
• Assist pharmacist with inventory management, including counting drugs and supplies
• Maintain clean, well-organized shelves and ensure overall pharmacy cleanliness and organization

Required Qualifications

• Certification or Degree in Sciences
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field
• CHEW certification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong team player with collaborative approach
• Residency in Chevron, Ikota, Ajah, Onipan, Ojota, Ketu, Opic, Arepo, or surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector
