## Title: Head of Accounts

Genesis Group is seeking a qualified Head of Accounts to lead and manage the accounting function across our operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Lead and manage the entire accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and statutory compliance
Consolidate financials from multiple outlets and ensure accurate, timely reporting of daily sales, cash flow, and profitability
Partner with operations to monitor food cost, wastage, and store-level expenses while ensuring adherence to budget and profitability targets
Prepare and present monthly management reports, highlighting trends, risks, and actionable insights
Oversee audit processes, taxation, and regulatory filings
Implement and strengthen internal controls across cash handling, vendor payments, and inventory management
Evaluate financial systems and processes; recommend and drive automation or technology solutions where appropriate
Develop and mentor the accounting team to build a high-performing, detail-driven finance function

Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification preferred
5–10 years of accounting or finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within QSR, hospitality, or retail sectors
Strong command of restaurant P&L, cost of goods sold (COGS), and outlet-level financial operations
Proven experience with POS systems, inventory software, and accounting ERPs (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle NetSuite)
Sharp analytical skills and attention to operational detail
Proactive mindset with ability to identify inefficiencies and take action before they become issues
