Location: Katampe District, Abuja (FCT)  Position Overview: - The Head, Media Department will lead the company’s media, branding, and communication strategy across digital and traditional platforms to enhance visibility, brand reputation, and business growth. Key Requirements - HND / BSc in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or related field - Professional journalism skills including news writing, reporting, interviewing, and content production - On-camera presenting and spokesperson experience (TV, radio, digital platforms) - Minimum of 5–8 years relevant media, journalism, or branding experience - Proven record of delivering high-visibility media campaigns - Strong public relations and media house engagement capability - Digital media, social media growth, and content strategy expertise - Creative leadership and team management skills - Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling ability - Data-driven approach to media performance and brand growth - Ability to work under pressure and manage public reputation - Professional conduct, confidence, and strong public presence. Experience: - 5 - 8 years relevant media, branding, or marketing experience - Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Core Skills & Competencies: - Strategic brand building and national publicity execution - Strong journalism skills: news writing, reporting, interviewing, and storytelling - On-camera presenting and spokesperson capability (TV, radio, digital media) - Media relations and PR management with press and broadcast platforms - Content creation for mass audiences (video, articles, documentaries, campaigns) - Digital media growth and social media influence management - Ability to drive viral, high-impact public awareness campaigns - Creative direction and leadership of media teams - Crisis communication and reputation management - Data-driven media planning and performance tracking.
