About the Role

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Head of E-Business to lead the Bank's digital transformation and drive the adoption of technology-enabled banking services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing digital banking operations, product innovation, and strategic partnerships that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the bank's digital and e-business strategy in alignment with overall corporate objectives
• Lead innovation in digital banking products and channels — mobile banking, internet banking, USSD, and agency banking
• Oversee the implementation and management of electronic payment systems and ensure compliance with CBN and regulatory guidelines
• Manage partnerships with fintechs, payment processors, and technology vendors
• Analyze customer behavior and market trends to identify new opportunities for digital growth
• Drive initiatives to enhance user experience, transaction security, and service delivery across all digital touchpoints
• Ensure effective governance, risk management, and performance monitoring of all e-business activities
• Collaborate with other business units to integrate technology solutions that support mortgage and retail banking services

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in e-business, digital banking, or fintech operations
• At least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, electronic payment systems, and fintech integration
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and digital transformation projects
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Master's degree in a related field
