Job Summary

This role is responsible for promptly identifying, measuring, monitoring, managing, minimizing and reporting risks that may impact the achievement of core business objectives in line with enterprise risk tolerance and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct unit-specific and company-wide risk control self-assessments, risk mapping, business continuity planning and process improvement
• Conduct objective, thorough and timely investigations on fraud-related cases reported by schemes, banks, internal and external e-payment stakeholders
• Ensure the company and business units meet all internal compliance requirements and external regulatory obligations
• Provide quality assurance on the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies deployed and carry out internal control activities
• Formulate and ensure proper implementation of risk management policies, processes and procedures
• Conduct merchant risk assessments and KYC documentation reviews for new and existing agents/merchants
• Provide risk advisement to various departments for new product implementations, investigate change requests and system integrations to mitigate operational, reputational, strategic and regulatory risks
• Work closely with other departments to investigate and resolve alleged fraudulent incidents, escalating issues with potential for negative industry and/or corporate exposure
• Conduct special investigations and reviews for suspicious scheme transactions
• Manage fraud monitoring solutions and review alert rule sets on applications
• Facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) workshops for business units to identify and monitor relevant Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Assist business units in developing, creating, monitoring and reporting Key Risk Indicators including thresholds in risk dashboards
