## Title: Head of Budgeting and Financial Planning

About the Role

Westfield Energy Resources Limited is seeking an experienced professional to lead budgeting and financial planning functions. You will drive financial strategy, performance monitoring, and strategic planning across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full Annual Budgeting & Business Planning Cycle
  • Develop Quarterly Forecasts & Rolling Cash Flow Projections (short-term & long-term)
  • Monitor financial performance versus budget and Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
  • Prepare Strategic Financial Models, ROI, Break-even, NPV, and IRR analyses for investments, tenders, and capital projects
  • Provide CFO/MD with monthly financial performance dashboards including revenue trends, margins, OPEX, CAPEX, EBITDA, and debt summary
  • Implement and maintain Oracle Fusion/SAGE Budget modules, ensuring budget control and approval workflows are followed
  • Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, HR, Projects, and Management to ensure budget discipline and cost optimization
  • Ensure all budget files, approvals, memos, and documents are stored in compliance with ISO 9001 and financial governance requirements
  • Support CFO in presentations to Executive Management and Board, including financial projections, risk analysis, and fiscal strategies

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 6–10 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, corporate finance, FP&A, or cost control (oil & gas/EPC preferred)
  • ICAN/ACCA fully qualified (mandatory)
  • Financial Modelling Certification or CFA (advantageous)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (modelling, pivot tables, dashboarding)
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and SAGE systems
  • Power BI experience (advantageous)
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, ISO standards, and Nigerian corporate regulations
