Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks to ensure our facility, equipment, and systems are kept in excellent condition.

This role requires practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, general repairs, and painting, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and respond to urgent maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair work on facilities, equipment, and fixtures
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Inspect facilities regularly and identify repair and maintenance needs
• Assemble, install, or repair furniture, equipment, and appliances
• Respond promptly to repair requests and emergency call-outs
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe, clean condition
• Work closely with management to schedule preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Requirements & Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or in a related role
• Strong knowledge of general repair techniques and building systems
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when necessary
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
