## Title: Group HR and Administration Manager

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Group HR and Administration Manager at Ama-Zuma Group, based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Department Operations

  • Oversee the daily operations of the department
  • Review daily activities and ensure operational efficiency

Facilities and Vendor Management

  • Oversee fueling and servicing of generator sets across all sites
  • Check and ensure servicing proposals and fueling proposals are well prepared before forwarding to the Audit department
  • Negotiate with vendors for effective costing
  • Monitor the store unit, particularly servicing materials and vehicle parts inventory

Operations Documentation

  • Ensure collated forms from engineers by the operations unit are signed timely and followed up to obtain monthly clearance
  • Ensure clearance forms from the operations unit are presented timely and accurately

Human Resources Management

  • Prepare source documentation needed for new hires or effective changes in pay, status, and/or benefits
  • Establish, maintain, and control personnel records, employee files, correspondence, reports, and organizational charts
  • Create new employee profiles and place employees on payroll
  • Maintain and update employees' files, handling changes in employee status in a timely manner
  • Manage onboarding, employee relations, payroll, performance management, and learning and growth initiatives
  • Provide assistance in monitoring the employee performance appraisal process

Employee Compliance and Welfare

  • Monitor staff punctuality, dress code compliance, and ID card display requirements; identify defaulting staff for management decision
  • Maintain health insurance and pension schemes
  • Interpret, assist, and advise employees and managers regarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management, benefit administration, and Human Resources procedures and policies within specified guidelines

Confidentiality and Information Security

  • Manage sensitive and confidential matters including personnel relations, employee relations, and organizational changes
  • Protect the security of information, data, and files
