Geographic Information System (GIS) Assistant Training Officer at Sambus Geospatial Nigeria Limited

Job Description - The Assistant Training Officer supports the work of the Training officer in executing all GIS workflows and training needs for client organizations and their end-users. - The role includes providing comprehensive support to the training team in all aspects of planning, organizing, and delivering of geospatial training modules. - With the assistance of the GIS Training Officer, the training unit will implement new workflows that are relevant to the market needs and sales requests. Responsibilities - Work closely with other departments to execute projects and software training for client organizations and end-users. - Support in developing training schedules based and client requirements. - Assist supervisor to ensure trainings are delivered in the best possible ways - Maintain training records and support trainers during sessions - Follow-up on client satisfaction with training sessions - Ensure after-sales value additions to clients and resolve complaints within 48 hours - Achieve positive customer support ratings - Ascertain the needs of customers, promote the relevant products, and demonstrate clearly how the products work - Assist with curriculum development and conducting research on emerging geospatial technologies. Assist the sales to with modules, prices, and proposals when needed. - Perform any other job-related roles assigned Requirements  - A Bachelor’s Degree in Geography/Remote Sensing/GIS/Surveying or related disciplined - A minimum of 3 years of training in Geospatial Domain - Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of how the company products work - Be proficient in the use of Remote Sensing and GIS software, most especially Esri and NV5 Harris software - Extensive GIS systems training knowledge and experience. - Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences - Have at least one Esri technical certifications or other Similar certifications - Ability to work with people with different backgrounds - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - The ability to identify and follow up on leads - Exceptional skills in selling products and closing deals - Knowledge of Relational database management (Oracle, My SQL etc.) - Excellent presentation skills and professional appearance - Knowledge of Remote Sensing and GIS - Analytical skill.
