## Title: General Manager – Hospitality

About the Role

A premier 5-star hospitality brand in Lekki/Ikate, Lagos, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead its operations. This is a senior leadership role with full profit-and-loss (P&L) responsibility, requiring a strategic thinker, an operational expert, and a brand ambassador.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can drive profitability, uphold impeccable 5-star service standards, masterfully market the brand, and inspire a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Drive profitability and manage full P&L responsibility
  • Uphold and maintain impeccable 5-star service standards
  • Lead strategic marketing initiatives and brand positioning
  • Optimize operations and ensure flawless service execution
  • Develop and inspire a high-performing team culture
  • Network and build relationships with HNIs, corporate leaders, and expatriates
  • Implement process-driven management systems and technology solutions

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc./BA in Hotel Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in hotel management at the general management level in a 5-star hotel establishment

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Extensive experience as a General Manager or senior hotel manager in a 5-star or luxury hotel environment
  • Strong financial skills with proven track record in P&L management, budgeting, and driving profitability
  • Modern understanding of marketing, including digital, social media, and brand positioning strategies
  • Hands-on leadership approach with focus on operational excellence
  • Inspirational and ethical leadership style with ability to develop staff
  • Natural ambassador with strong networking capabilities
  • Experience with hotel ERP systems (such as Hotelplus)
  • Impeccable presentation and high integrity
  • Discretion and passion for 5-star service excellence
