## Title: General Manager

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join One StepAhead Consulting as General Manager. Based in Abuja and reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the overall operations, strategy, and financial performance of the organization. In this role, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability while upholding the company's brand values and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership across all departments and translate business goals into actionable plans
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality service, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage financial performance by preparing budgets, monitoring key metrics (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP), and driving revenue and cost control
  • Support Sales & Marketing initiatives to grow occupancy, events, and brand visibility while maintaining top-tier guest relations
  • Lead HR functions including recruitment, training, performance management, and foster a culture of accountability and service excellence

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–10 years of progressive hotel management experience with a minimum of 3 years in senior leadership roles
  • Strong operational, financial, and guest service expertise
  • Experience from major hotel chains (advantageous)
