Position Details

• Position Title: GBV Case Worker
• Duty Station: Tigray Region, based in Chila Woreda
• Employment Term: 4 months (Maternity Cover)
• Reports To: Health Program Manager
• Number of Positions: 1
• Candidate Requirement: Female only

Job Summary

The position holder will be based in Tigray Region, Chila Woreda. The overall responsibility is to conduct GBV case management activities and strengthen GBV response referral pathways. The position holder will work under the direct supervision of the Health Program Manager with technical links to the mission GBV Advisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to survivors, including referrals to existing services at the woreda level
• Conduct follow-up and update the status of referral cases
• Support updating service mapping in the coverage area
• Coordinate with other GBV actors in the woreda
• Prepare and compile weekly and monthly reports and share with relevant stakeholders
