GBV Case Manager (Consultant) at ActionAid Nigeria

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified GBV Case Manager to coordinate, manage, and supervise the direct implementation of community-based Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and Women & Girls Safe Spaces activities in MMC.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise the implementation of GBV prevention and Women & Girls Safe Spaces community-based activities
• Provide overall leadership to a team of GBV Case Workers and GBV Champions
• Ensure awareness-raising activities at the community level are conducted effectively
• Share key messages on GBV prevention and response appropriately within communities

Education & Qualifications

• First degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Health, or related fields (essential)

Experience Required

• At least three (3) years' experience implementing child protection or Gender-Based Violence programs in humanitarian or development settings, preferably in social work or case management (essential)
• Proven experience supervising and managing teams in cross-cultural settings, specifically with Case Workers (essential)
• Experience working with case files and databases with strong documentation practices (essential)
• Demonstrated record of providing training and workshops on gender, GBV, and Sexual & Reproductive Health (SRH) topics in various settings (essential)
• Experience in emergency preparedness and response
• Experience working in an International Development organization (desirable)
