Gas Plant Manager

Location: Abule Odo, Satellite Town - Lagos Position Overview: - We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Gas Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gas plant. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, sales, distribution, maintenance, and compliance functions while ensuring the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all day-to-day activities of the plant, including sales, distribution, and maintenance. - Develop and implement strategies to improve plant performance, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. - Lead and manage plant personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment. - Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations. - Oversee inventory levels and manage product flow effectively. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with LPG depots and refineries to ensure a reliable supply chain. - Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment. - Schedule and supervise repairs to minimize downtime. - Manage the plant budget, control costs, and prepare operational and performance reports. - Maintain cordial relationships with regulatory authorities, agencies, and the host community. - Build and expand a strong customer base to drive sales growth and business development. Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering (or a related field). - 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in LPG or gas plant operations, with supervisory or managerial exposure. - Strong knowledge of LPG plant operations, distribution processes, and HSE standards. - Proven leadership and people management skills. - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Strong business acumen, including budgeting, sales, and performance reporting. Salary & Benefits - Salary: N180,000 monthly - Incentives: Performance-based incentives available.
