Frontend Developer - REACT at Mitiget Assurance and Technology Services Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to build high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using React. This role requires deep knowledge of modern frontend technologies and UI/UX principles. Hands-on experience with DevOps practices is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Implement reusable components, optimize performance, and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to deliver seamless user experiences
• Integrate APIs and manage state effectively using tools like Redux or Context API
• Ensure code quality through testing (Jest, Cypress) and adherence to best practices
• Participate in CI/CD workflows and contribute to deployment processes
• Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in React.js development (hooks, context, state management)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite)
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and design systems
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• TypeScript
• Next.js
• DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud deployment experience
