## Title: Front Desk Officer
Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer is the first point of contact for members, visitors, and partners at Mitera Health HMO. This role is crucial for creating a positive and welcoming environment, efficiently managing inquiries, and providing administrative support.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all members, visitors, and vendors, providing assistance and directing them appropriately
- Manage incoming calls, directing them to the relevant departments or personnel
- Schedule appointments and meetings for various departments, ensuring efficient time management
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, packages, and deliveries
- Process basic member inquiries regarding services, appointments, or general information, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure security protocols are followed
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- Proven experience (1–3 years) in a front desk, reception, or administrative support role, preferably within a healthcare or HMO setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and empathy
- Knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment
