## Title: Front Desk/Customer Service Officer

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Front Desk/Customer Service Officer to provide high-level support services and manage customer recovery processes with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain up-to-date records of clients with outstanding payments for recovery purposes
  • Provide high-level support services by taking ownership of all customer recovery processes from initiation through to resolution and satisfactory closure
  • Profile clients for appointment scheduling and ensure target number of visits is scheduled within defined timelines
  • Communicate terms and conditions of receivables' balances to customers
  • Address internal queries regarding payments, ensure customers pay on time, and negotiate repayment plans when necessary
  • Draft and send periodic (weekly) update notices to customers requesting payment of overdue/outstanding balances
  • Analyze and process payment lodgments and forward documentation for timely account reconciliation and receipt generation
  • Collaborate with appropriate units on customer account reconciliation issues
  • Identify changes in payment patterns and propose actions to avert potential losses from unpaid receivables
  • Liaise with appropriate units to resolve customer issues for recovery purposes
  • Handle all queries regarding outstanding payments and negotiate repayment plans in line with company-approved processes
  • Ensure clients receive confirmatory messages for each payment made
  • Capture customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery

Requirements

  • BSc/HND degree in any relevant discipline
  • Proven experience in customer service or telesales (advantageous)
  • Confident, well-spoken, presentable, and professional demeanor
  • Energetic, positive, self-motivated, outgoing, and customer-centric attitude
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills with high integrity and work ethics
  • Ability to work accurately under stress and pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as an active team member
  • Knowledge of customer service software applications
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
