About the Role

We seek a dedicated and passionate Part-Time French Teacher to join our academic team at Millie's British International School. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within our international education community.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the French language, with the ability to effectively teach pupils of various age groups and proficiency levels within Nursery and Primary (ranging from Nursery to Year 6).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons to pupils in Early Years and Primary
• Assess pupils' progress in both written and spoken French
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students
• Foster independent, pupil-led learning
• Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes effective learning
• Use computers and new technology to enhance learning outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in French
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word and PowerPoint)
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Confident and enthusiastic use of technology in education

Location Requirements

Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan, Nigeria.
