Job Summary

We are seeking skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our warehouse and logistics teams in Enugu, Aba, and Shagamu. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to support daily warehouse and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, stackers) to load, unload, transport, and stack goods within the warehouse or yard
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately
• Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), adherence to speed limits, and safe stacking practices
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and assist warehouse staff with stock counts and inventory reconciliation
• Ensure proper handling of goods to prevent damage, loss, or misplacement
• Maintain work areas as clean, organised, and clutter-free as possible, in compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards
• Assist in receiving and dispatching shipments, verifying load accuracy against delivery documents
• Participate in safety drills, training sessions, and toolbox meetings as required
• Support team members during peak operational periods and special projects

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
