## Title: Food and Beverage Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a suitably qualified Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations. This position involves managing staff, developing menus, controlling budgets, ensuring customer satisfaction, maintaining health and safety standards, and optimizing profitability for the establishment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee daily food and beverage operations to ensure high standards of quality and consistency
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise F&B staff, fostering a motivated and efficient team environment
- Collaborate with chefs to design and implement innovative menus that align with customer preferences and profitability goals
- Develop and manage department budgets, control costs, monitor inventory, and analyze financial performance to meet profitability targets
- Ensure a superior guest experience by addressing complaints, implementing service standards, and maintaining high levels of customer service
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Monitor inventory levels, order necessary supplies, and negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable pricing
- Assist in developing marketing strategies and promotions to increase sales and attract guests
- Work with event planners and clients to design and execute successful food and beverage services for special functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
- At least 3 years of work experience in food and beverage management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
