## Title: Fleet Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise drivers' performance and allocate driver assignments
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
  • Maintain all trucks in top working order
  • Control fuel issuance, consumption, and management to reduce running costs
  • Ensure all trucks comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements; escalate issues and recommend resolutions to management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and address complaints
  • Schedule drivers and assign routes to maximize productivity
  • Ensure all documentation is processed and complete before departure and during offloading
  • Maintain necessary fleet vehicle availability at all times
  • Control fleet administration and operations including maintenance, driver, and customer interactions
  • Ensure all fleet and human behavioral safety compliance is fully adhered to
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and execution to meet preventive and corrective maintenance standards and operational demands
  • Acquire and validate all relevant licenses and ensure they are promptly renewed and updated

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND in a related field
  • 2 – 4 years of working experience, preferably in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
