About the Role

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Fleet Manager to join our dynamic team in Jibowu, Lagos. As a Fleet Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, operation, and administration of our fleet of trucks and vans, ensuring optimal performance and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the fleet of trucks and vans
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure fleet availability
• Identify and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize fleet operations
• Ensure timely deliveries and achievement of performance targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Lead and support drivers to achieve performance goals
• Conduct regular follow-ups with drivers to monitor performance and ensure targets are met
• Foster a positive team culture and maintain driver trust

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of road networks and logistics
• Strong understanding of engines, trucks, and vans
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
• Established relationships with trusted spare parts suppliers
