About the Role

This position is responsible for the accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of the company's fixed assets and inventory. The officer ensures compliance with accounting standards, maintains detailed asset registers, manages periodic stock counts, and provides accurate reconciliations to support financial reporting and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and track fixed assets and inventory
• Prepare and maintain detailed asset registers
• Manage periodic stock counts and physical verifications
• Perform accurate reconciliations to support financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and IFRS requirements
• Support financial decision-making through timely and accurate reporting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in fixed assets, inventory, or cost accounting roles
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems in asset and inventory modules
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting for fixed assets and inventory

Required Skills

• Excellent reconciliation and record-keeping abilities
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Experience

• Oil and gas or manufacturing sector experience
