Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to drive growth of risk assets with SME customers while maintaining strong client relationships. This role is primarily responsible for financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance within our organization.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive growth of risk assets with SME customers and maintain client relationships
• Assist in preparation and updating of Fixed Assets register and schedule
• Calculate monthly depreciation and amortization
• Ensure the integrity of general ledgers
• Prepare Rent and other relevant schedules
• Assist in monthly review of bank statements
• Assist in preparation of Financial statements and reports
• Support Treasury Management activities
• Assist in budget preparation and financial planning
• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Support the finance team in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
• Assist in preparation and rendition of regulatory returns
• Handle monthly filing of VAT and WHT returns
• Ensure timely remittance of regulatory deductions
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Financial Control

Qualifications and Experience

• HND/B.Sc. degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable institution
• ACA or ACCA certification
• Minimum of 5 years of Finance/Accounting experience in a similar financial institution
