About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Finance Manager to play a vital role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial insights to support decision-making. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, tax management, and budgeting to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.

Reports To: Managing Director/CEO

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day accounting and finance operations
• Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Ensure timely preparation and accurate presentation of financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control to support operational efficiency
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including proactively applying updated knowledge of current tax laws and reforms in Nigeria
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions
• Supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team to improve performance and build capacity
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions and growth initiatives
• Drive process improvement and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial support for business projects and initiatives
