About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Manager with a strong background in travel agency finance operations to join our client's team at Dolphin Estate, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 7 years of experience in the travel industry (TILA), including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role, capable of overseeing financial management, reporting, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and cash flow management
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory remittances and compliance with tax regulations
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and KPI analysis
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights
- Implement and maintain accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
- Provide guidance and mentorship to finance team members
- Optimize financial operations with accounting software and technology solutions
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA) qualification
- Minimum 7 years' experience in finance/accounting within the travel industry (TILA)
- At least 3 years' experience as a Manager or Supervisor
- Proven experience managing financial operations and leading teams
Required Knowledge, Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Pastel, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of statutory remittances and regulatory compliance
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective leadership and communication skills
Location Requirements
Must reside within close proximity to Dolphin Estate, Lagos.
